Whitespace and line endings
Line endings are normalized to make Windows, Mac, and Unix text comparable. You can optionally ignore leading and trailing whitespace; whitespace inside a line still matters.
Limits
Each side supports up to 200,000 characters and 2,500 lines. Comparisons that take too long are stopped. Results are line-based and use a unified view.
Privacy
Comparison happens in your browser. Inputs are not intentionally uploaded or saved. Open local UTF-8 text files only when you choose them.
